FAQ – Ski Boot Rental & Fitting
Which shoe size should I enter in the online booking?
Enter your normal shoe size. In the shop, we always fit ski or snowboard boots with you and select the boot according to your foot length, width and shape.
What happens if the boots or equipment do not fit?
We will exchange them. You can visit any open K&K rental location during the rental period.
Do you have boots for wide, narrow or sensitive feet?
We stock different last widths, flex levels and closure systems. During fitting, tell us about pressure points, previous problems or special requirements so that we can select accordingly.
Can I use my own insoles or orthotic footbeds?
Yes. Bring them to the fitting. Our team will check in which rental boot they can be used sensibly and safely.
What type of soles do K&K rental ski boots have?
All our rental ski boots are equipped with GripWalk soles. If you rent ski boots only and want to use your own skis, the bindings must be GripWalk-compatible or specifically approved for GripWalk soles.
Can I use rented ski boots with my own skis?
Yes, but only if the bindings on your own skis are GripWalk-compatible or specifically approved by the manufacturer for GripWalk soles. All our rental ski boots use GripWalk soles exclusively. Bring your own skis when collecting the boots so that we can check the bindings, compatibility and adjustment. If the bindings are not GripWalk-compatible, our rental boots must not be used with those skis.
Can I rent only skis or only ski boots?
Yes. Skis, ski boots, snowboards, snowboard boots and helmets can also be booked separately.
