Snowboard / Freestyle in Südtirol
Having landed a triple win of Best Park, Best Jib Line and Best Pro Line at the 2014 Skipass Awards, the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park in the Dolomites is officially Italy’s best snow park. At 1.5 km long and offering around 70 obstacles, the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park is one of the longest terrain parks in Europe. With rails, kickers, boxes and whoops the snow park offers everything that a freestyler could ever wish for, from easy through medium right up to pro level. In the upper level of the park, beginner and medium level boarders will find plenty of scope for action, while the pro-line on the lower level with its demanding obstacles will have advanced boarders in their element. There are also three big kickers here for advanced freeskiers and boarders. One particularly unusual attraction of the Alpe di Siusi Snow Park in the Dolomites is the wood line, where all obstacles are made of wood.
Snowboard rental
The Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is a freestyler’s paradise, with its many slopes and its “Funpark” for adventurous boarders. Our shop in Seis is the perfect solution for excellently prepared snowboards and boots. Why not hire the newest freestyle snowboard and then get straight onto the slopes? FAQ – Snowboard Rental & Equipment
Is a helmet included in the ski or snowboard set?
Helmets are booked separately so that you can reserve the exact number and size required.
Do you offer Burton Step On equipment?
Yes, we rent Burton Step On snowboard equipment. The system works only with compatible Burton Step On boots and bindings.
Can I rent snowboard bindings or snowboard boots separately?
Yes. Subject to availability, snowboard boots and snowboard bindings can also be rented separately. If you combine rental equipment with your own equipment, we will check compatibility. Burton Step On always requires compatible Step On boots and bindings.
Can I switch from skis to a snowboard during the rental?
Yes. We recommend booking the equipment you want to start with for the full period and mentioning the planned change in the Notes field. An upgrade charge may apply for a higher category.
Are skis and snowboards checked and prepared before every handover?
Yes. Rental equipment is checked after return and professionally prepared according to its condition. Before the next handover, we check function and safety. If anything feels wrong or works unusually during the rental period, visit a K&K location immediately for inspection.
Do you offer snowboard servicing?
At present, we can wax snowboards. Additional work depends on the season, workshop workload and technical feasibility; please ask directly in the shop.
